It was not long ago when I personally witnessed my grandpa, who has dementia, struggle
to receive help due to being so far away from most of his relatives along with his reduced
motor skills … and he's not the only one. Approximately 20% to 40% elderly face loneliness and
lack of care.
So the question was: how can we make medical aid more accessible to improve the well-being,
independence, and daily support of elderly?
